Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
The short version: Airward analyses your own Wi-Fi network entirely on your Mac. Your device inventory and network data never leave your computer, and we run no telemetry. The only personal data we ever receive is what is needed to sell you a licence.
Who we are
Airward is a product of PXL Security LTD (“we”, “us”), the company responsible for the product website and the personal data described in this policy. For privacy questions, contact hello@airward.app.

Data the app processes — and where it stays
When running, Airward inventories the devices on the Wi-Fi network you are connected to. This may include IP and MAC addresses, hostnames, hardware vendors, open ports, and the Wi-Fi network’s name (SSID), identifier (BSSID), security type and channel.
All of this is stored locally on your Mac. It is never transmitted to us or any third party. We operate no servers that receive your network data, and collect no analytics or telemetry.
Location permission
macOS only reveals a Wi-Fi network’s SSID/BSSID to apps that hold Location permission. Airward requests it solely to read the current network’s identifiers for rogue-access-point detection. Your geographic location is never stored, logged, or transmitted.
Purchases & licensing
Card payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number. We receive your email address and the licence key issued for your purchase, so we can deliver it and validate it later. When you activate a licence, the app sends your licence key and a machine name to our licensing service — never your network data, device inventory, or location.
Website
This site is statically hosted and carries no advertising and no cross-site tracking. Standard server logs may be retained by the host.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, stores no identifier on your device, does not fingerprint you, and cannot follow you to other sites. We see aggregate counts — pages, referrers, countries, browsers — and never anything that identifies an individual visitor. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing about you is retained.
Your choices
- Export all of your local data as JSON at any time.
- Delete all local data from within the app, or simply uninstall.
- Revoke Location or Notification permissions in System Settings at any time.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
