Everything you need to write about Airward accurately, including the things we would rather you did not get wrong.
One line
Airward is a macOS menu-bar app that shows every device on your Wi-Fi and alerts you when an unknown device or a rogue access point appears — running entirely on your Mac, with no account and no telemetry.

Assets
- App icon — 1024×1024 PNG
- Device list · Event timeline · Settings — dark, plus light
- Social card — 1200×630
All screenshots are rendered from the real application using synthetic device data — real UI, invented network. None are mock-ups, and none show anyone’s actual network.
Please get these right
- Airward is defensive. It monitors the network you are connected to and performs no offensive actions.
- It does not decrypt traffic and does not “stop eavesdroppers”. Modern Wi-Fi is already encrypted over the air; the useful job is noticing impersonation. Background.
- It is not a VPN and not antivirus.
- Location permission is required because macOS gates SSID and BSSID behind it — not because the app wants your position. It never stores or transmits a location.
No testimonials yet
Airward launched in August 2026 and we have no user quotes worth printing. When we do, they will be real and attributed. We would rather have an empty section here than a fabricated one.
